It’s just such a pain taking everything out of it, cleaning all the shelves, looking at all the expiration dates, and reorganizing it again. But I tackled it for this week’s installment of…
“You cleaned what?!? Wednesday”
That said- it was my project this week- and now that it’s done I couldn’t be happier. I should have taken a “before” picture, because it was really a mess. But now it’s clean and wiped down and I feel much better:)

I learned while cleaning the refrdgerator that we have a LOT of condiments! lol. But now at least we can see and get to the condiments we want- since the fridge is clean! yay!

Great job Shan! cleaning the fridge is a huge task! thats really good detailed cleaning to take them out and wash them in the sink! I usually just wipe them with a towl and white vinegar! I’ll try that! ps holy crap you have a huge fridge! lol:) pps i’m going to clean the garbage can tonight (since we’ll be away next week, stay tuned for you cleaned what? …thursdays:) lol:)

Nikki- Ibet the vinegar does a great job. My shelves were just too sticky, and needed a full on bath!
Good luck with cleaning the trash can, I need to do that too. But its so akward trying to reach in there!

Hi Shan! It wasn’t Wednesday – it actually took Dave and I the better part of a month to finish – but yesterday we finished cleaning out the filing cabinet, refiling, and sorting through years worth of paper, and getting rid of TONS of paper we didn’t need. I think it has amounted to about 6 garbage bags full of paper – shredded or whole. It feels great! We are working through the rest of the apartment now – decluttering. YAY!

Hi Shannon, this is my first time to your blog, and I have serious fridge-envy! One of the last times I cleaned ours out, I put down shelf-liner to make future cleanings a lot easier. So far it seems to be working well. Great post!

You rock, Shannon! Your fridge is adorable and your motivation to clean it is fantastic! Now I have to hop to it – I know for a fact there’s a strawberry juice drip in there that’s been plaguing me for two weeks, LOL.
