Welcome back to Favorite Thing Friday!

This is a weekly feature I’m planning on doing the rest of the summer- maybe beyond! And this week I thought I’d share a few of my fave things in the bathroom!

I started thinking about them because we just finished decorating my daughters bathroom upstairs and two of the items in it- are stand outs for me. And then one item is for the whole family- a QVC purchase that turned out to live up to the hype!

Fave Thing #1 – The Little Looster

I got the Little Looster many many months ago. I was getting ready to potty train and thought it would be helpful. And now that my daughter IS potty Trained I’d add this stool as one of my Favorite potty Training tools!

It fits up against any standard toilet, but unlike most stools it wraps around! That way little feet will not step on its side, and topple down.

Little looster is very sturdy, and makes the toilet easily reachable, while also letting her feet rest on it when she sits. Also- it has smart openings on the front allowing adults to use the potty without having to pull it away. I’m grateful we have it!

Fave Thing #2 – Wen Cleansing Conditioner

I enjoy QVC more than is really sane. I don’t buy from it all that often- but I LOVE watching it! For years I would see the WEN Hair Care come on- and I was intrigued. WEN cleansing conditioner IS the shampoo(even though the name says conditioner!) and it’s made with natural ingredients. It contains no sodium laurel sulfate or other damaging detergents. You also just use the one product as shampoo, conditioner, leave in hair treatment and de-tangler.

I LOVE IT! My hair feels soft like when I was a child- before I used perms or heat on it. And I like using it on our toddlers hair- because  I never liked all the chemicals in other stuff. I have the almond Mint one. I think next I’ll try the Tea Tree:)

Fave Thing #3  Wall Decals from Pottery Barn Kids

decals

My husband and I did not want to put up kids wallpaper in our daughters bathroom- we were sure we’d just be pulling it down in 5 years. So when I got some towels from Pottery Barn Kids- I tried their wall decals. I did it kind of against my best judgement- I’d used wall decals in her playhouse and they peeled off and ripped easily. These decals were more expensive- but the quality is so much better! I even moved them around after I first put them on- and they retained their stick.

Plus this way- when she is a little older all I have to do is peel them off to make her bathroom less kiddish. So I think they were worth the 34 dollars they cost me:)
