When my 3 year old was ready to graduate from a toddler bed to a new big girl bed, I asked her what kind of bed she wanted. Her only request was that her bed be… all white.

I’m not joking!

Giving a preschooler a room with white curtains and bedding was probably little insane. But you know what? A year later, that beautiful white room is one of my favorite rooms in the whole house! In the morning the sun streams in, and the white bedding looks like a heavenly cloud. I love that I took a leap, and trusted that I could keep the bedding white, even while allowing a preschooler to be a kid!
